- The adventure begins with an early departure from Cusco, heading جنوب toward the southern valleys. As you leave the city behind, the landscape gradually transforms into wide-open plains, dotted with traditional villages and herds of alpacas and llamas.
- A stop is made in the area of Cusipata, where you can enjoy breakfast (depending on your tour arrangement) and prepare for the hike ahead. Afterward, the journey continues by vehicle until reaching the trailhead, located at a high altitude in the Andes.
- From here, the hike begins. The trail gradually ascends through stunning mountain scenery, with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, including the impressive Ausangate Mountain in the distance. Along the way, you may encounter local families and animals native to the region, adding a unique cultural element to the experience.
