- A stop is typically made in Mollepata, where you can enjoy breakfast (depending on the service) and prepare for the day’s adventure. Afterward, the trip continues toward Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike, located at a high altitude surrounded by impressive mountain peaks.
- From Soraypampa, the hike to Humantay Lake begins. The trail gradually ascends, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, including the majestic Salkantay peak. The hike can be physically demanding due to altitude, but the scenery along the way makes every step worthwhile.
